The Seeress

Drawing people can be tricky. The human form itself is not that hard to draw, with practice. Achieving depth is sometimes difficult. The most minute change in coloration can change the whole look of a face. This picture was going to be of a strawberry blonde with long and flowing hair. She morphed. Getting the colors to blend subtly and properly was very tricky.

Wind Dancer

I had a lot of fun with this drawing. Everything about it seemed to flow and grow by itself. It's actually one of my favorites, reminding me of the first card in the Tarot deck- The Fool that dances on the precipice with his/her eyes on the heavens. I use the dancer on my business cards and stationery.

The original version of Free was one of my first drawings. By the time I did this, I was beginning to feel more comfortable and confident with my tools and more inclined to experiment with effects...beginning to feel free.
